Tyra Banks’ reign as the queen of reality television competition shows has certainly come to an end. After her exit from Dancing With The Stars, Tyra was hoping to go back to her America’s Next Top Model roots.

But unfortunately for the former supermodel herself, it looks like no one in the television industry is looking to work with her again. That’s because of the supposed toxic environment that she created behind the scenes. Here’s what you need to know.
Tyra Banks’ Television Career Crashes And Burns
Even though Tyra was the one who first began America’s Next Top Model in 2003, a lot of people believe that she might have indirectly contributed to the show’s cancellations in 2018.
That’s because rumors about her abusive behavior behind the scenes made it very difficult for people to work with her. If that weren’t enough, America’s Next Top Model 2011 winner Lisa D’Amato slammed Tyra and her “horrible” behavior and said that working on the show felt like a prison sentence.
And while Tyra herself might have apologized for some of the “really off choices” that she’s made over the years, it’s not enough to repair her reputation among television producers.

If that weren’t enough, one of the reasons why she was given the boot by the producers of Dancing With The Stars is because they believed that audiences had a very hard time connecting with her. In order to save face, Tyra ended up quitting the show before she got fired.
What’s Next For Tyra Banks?
Unfortunately, for Tyra it looks like the damage has been done as no one seems to be picking up her phone calls anymore. One source close to the situation recently told The National Enquirer, “Tyra admits she’s made mistakes in the past and just wants to show she’s changed her ways and isn’t the wicked taskmaster the staff and contestants on Dancing With the Stars and Top Model claim. She’s pitching a reboot – but she’s had no takers. Her reputation is dogging her, and she isn’t getting a chance to show she’s learned her lesson.”
