Val Chmerkovskiy And Jenna Johnson’s New Family Update Will Thrill ‘DWTS’ Fans

Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson‘s home life with their son is not so far off from the glamour of the ballroom when they both hit the dance floor. To burst your bubble, their 2-year-old son Rome has already started busting up the right moves.

He’s after all got dance and rhythm flowing in his veins, courtesy of being the offspring of two highly professional dancers.

Little Rome is reaching his very first milestones, and like any proud mother, Johnson wants to shout it out to the whole world. However, unlike most mothers, Johnson can just pop in on a PEOPLE interview and spill the beans.

“He is just talking so much, which is wild how quickly it just shifts when they start picking up on so many words. His big milestone that I think we’re both really proud of, he can count to 10, which is crazy,” Johnson told the outlet.

“What’s fun is he loves watching us dance. If we ever have a video of us dancing, he loves watching it over and over and over again. So we’ll see what he wants to do,” she continued.

Rome’s second birthday was recently celebrated with a car racing themed party.

Dancing isn’t all that interests the little Chmerkovskiy, according to the big Chmerkovskiy. On Feb. 13, Johnson enrolled her son in a gymnastics class.

“First gymnastics class. @stephen_nedoroscik I think he’s definitely ready for the pommel horse,” she captioned the post, further sharing the toddler having fun doing different gymnastics skills.
Fans were thrilled to discover that Rome was having the best fun jumping around, with one writing, “The look on his little face when he went down that little roller coaster… Oh my gosh he’s so precious.”

The father of the cute boy also chimed in on the comments section to exclaim, “The best thing that’s ever happened to me in life is meeting you and bringing this boy into this world. I love you so much.”
