Victoria Beckham Fears For Her Daughter Harper’s Safety

For five solid years, a nutcase took the liberty of stalking and harassing the Beckham family, even to the extent of going to the school where their youngest child Harper Beckham is schooling, to claim she is her mother and she came to take her home.

Although the stalker by name Sharon Bell has been arrested and charged with harassment as she appeared virtually in Westminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday, Prosecutor Arizuna Asante said of Victoria, via the Mirror: “She is now scared to go out. It has made it hard for her. She is worried, especially when Harper goes on school trips.”

In her statement read to Westminster magistrates’ court, the fashion designer added: “I tried to make very little fuss as I’m very worried about the effect it may have on Harper. I tried to protect her and I am worried about her safety.”

Ms. Bell has been stalking and harassing every member of David Beckham family for five years, and asides going to Harper Beckham’s school, to claim she is her mother and asking to pick her up, Ms. Bell also sent letters to the couple’s London home and even turned up there only to get turned away by security. “The letters were becoming increasingly threatening and obviously the female knew where I lived. It made me worried about what she would do next.”

Sharon Bell, who is charged with harassment, appeared virtually in Westminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday and both Victoria and her husband David submitted statements about the traumatic ordeal.

“I felt like the language in the letter was escalating and becoming more emotional and threatening towards me and my family and this worried me,’ David’s statement read. Adding: “I felt helpless and angry that there was nothing I could do.”

Victoria explained: “Due to the volume of attention [we get], we are rarely informed of the nature of communications from fans.” Prosecutor Arizuna Asante added: “She is now scared to go out and it has made things harder for her.”

Ms. Bell, of Watford, was charged with stalking but did not face a criminal trial because she has a mental disorder.

District Judge Michael Snow imposed an indefinite stalking protection order banning Bell from contacting the Beckhams or their four children for the rest of their lives.

“This is one of those rare cases where an indefinite order is necessary to protect those members of the Beckham family named within it from serious psychological or physical harm from Ms. Bell,” he said.

According to Hello Magazine, Sharon Bell is not the only issue the Beckhams have faced in their mansion house, a masked burglar snuck into their property in March.

According to The Sun, the break-in occurred on a Tuesday evening but wasn’t discovered until Wednesday morning, when David and Victoria’s 17-year-old son Cruz returned home from a night out and spotted broken glass and an upturned bedroom.

Fortunately, the burglar appears to have only managed to raid one bedroom, taking designer clothes, accessories, and electric goods, leaving the family “shaken up” but not hurt.
