Wendy Williams – Saddened Fans
With the announcement that her run in daytime was coming to an end, many fans were saddened. Of course, we were too but we are overjoyed to hear that she will be launching a podcast soon. She is ready to begin the next chapter of her career with her show The Wendy Williams Show officially coming to an end on June 17, 2022. A reporter shared that Williams is ready to enter the world of podcasts with iTunes. This was reported by Extra’s Billy Bush.
Wendy Williams – Parting Ways
According to Bush in his episode, Williams had a meeting with the show’s producers, Mort Marcus and Ira Berstein of Debmar-Mercury, and agreed that it was time to part ways. The show was originally supposed to end continuing through the end of the season with some rotating guests but with Williams being sidelined by health issues for the majority of its run a decision came. Viewers would remember that Williams had been away from the show since July 2021 and went on medical leave the following September, at that time Sherri Shepherd filled in for her during most of season 13 and hosted the grand finale.
