What Donnie Wahlberg Plans To Do With The Dinner Table He Took From 'Blue Bloods' SetSinger and actor Donnie Wahlberg recently sat down with PEOPLE for their ‘One Last Thing’ chat.
During the interview, he revealed the one thing he took from the set of crime drama ‘Blue Bloods’ and why he took it in the first place.

Donnie Wahlberg  – Wanted Some Momento From the Long-running Detective Series

After starring in the hit CBS law enforcement drama for over a decade, Donnie Wahlberg believed he needed something special to remember the long-running show by as it plans to wrap in its 14th season. So what did he do? He grabbed the things he felt most sentimental about from the set of the TV show.

“I took my two Danny Reagan costumes — my blue suit and my dress blues,” the host and producer of ID true-crime docuseries ‘Very Scary People,’ said. “I put them on mannequins and put them in a Wahlburgers.”

He was good with what he’d taken so far, until he learned something startling about the Reagan family dining table, which more or less featured in every episode of the show. “I really had no intention of taking anything from the set until I learned that that table and chairs was just sitting in a warehouse somewhere,” the actor and singer, 55, said.

Wahlberg revealed that he doesn’t want to keep it locked up at home either, but rather plans to move it between locations so that fans can have fun with a piece of the show. One of the locations where the set up will be appearing is St. Charles, Ill., where he and his wife, Jenny McCarthy, 52, live.

“I’ll set it up where fans can sit at the table and take pictures,” he said. “And then I’m going to raffle it probably for charity for the DEA, the Detectives Endowment Association, for the Widows and Children’s Fund.”

The star also talked about his dedication to his fanbase in the interview, saying, “When I finish touring with New Kids on the Block, I start missing the fans and trying to come up with what we’re doing next. It never gets old.”
