Why Did Taylor Swift And Joe Alwyn Break Up

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have officially split after six solid years, and the internet is still perplexed.  Taylor Swift left a string of broken hearts and bad break-up songs through years of failed relationships. 

But, back in 2019 Taylor stepped out with her new boyfriend Joe Alwyn and it seemed like the unlucky in love singer had finally found her happily ever after.  But, that’s apparently not the case.  

So, what happened to Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn?  Swift and Alwyn strived to keep their relationship out of the public eye, and it seemed to work. 

After all, this is probably Taylor’s longest and most successful romance to date.  But, somewhere along the line things went sour.  Why did Taylor and Joe break up?

According to The Sun’s inside source, Taylor and Joe’s break-up was amicable and the couple had just grown apart over the years.  The insider went on to say, “It was easier during the pandemic when it was just the two of them, but once things returned to normal, Taylor Swift the superstar emerged, and their differences were more apparent.  They really made a go of it and tried everything they could but ultimately were unable to save the relationship.”

Despite Joe Alwyn and Taylor Swift not having any bad blood between each other, Swifties are already clamoring for the new album we have grown to expect after every single one of Taylor’s relationships have crashed and burned.

Will Taylor Write A New Song About Her Break-up 

At this point, we’re shocked the Joe Alwyn’s of the world keep signing up to date the songstress.  Taylor’s potential boyfriends have to know that when they split (which seems inevitable) their entire romance will be put on blast in her next song.
