Why Doja Cat Quit Music

After her performance in Brazil on March 24, Doja Cat went on to Twitter to call it quits saying “This s–t ain’t for me so I’m out. Y’all take care.”

The “Say So” singer had a show scheduled at Paraguay’s Asunciónico festival on March 22 but, unfortunately, she canceled due to a storm causing intense flooding. She went on to Twitter to tweet about her show in Brazil on March 24, which triggered her fans from Paraguay and they replied to her tweet saying it seems she doesn’t care about their country.

One of the fans in the thread tweeted: “Not a single photo being in Paraguay, not a single tweet, not a single Instagram story!!!! You made us empty!!” Doja after reading the thread, went further down to reply to this saying that she’s not sorry.

Doja Cat Spoilers – Too Much Pressure

Doja flared up saying she got so much hate for canceling the show over security purposes and so much pressure on her. She said, “It’s gone and i don’t give a f–k anymore, I f–kin quit. I can’t wait to f–king disappear and I don’t need you to believe in me anymore.” She added, “Everything is dead to me, music is dead, and I’m a f–king fool for ever thinking I was made for this, this is a f–king nightmare unfollow me.”

Doja then went ahead to change her Twitter handle to “I Quit”. Apparently, Doja isn’t the only artist that canceled on Paraguay, Miley Cyrus also did

Just like Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus also had a show which she was set to headline at Paraguay’s Asunciónico festival on March 23. She was forced to land when lightning struck her plane.

Miley made a video on the day she was to perform, explaining with a tweet that lightning had struck her plane. She said: “To my fans and everyone worried after hearing about my flight to Asunción. Our plane was caught in a major unexpected storm and struck by lighting. My crew, band, friends, and family who were all traveling with me are safe after an emergency landing.”

Doja Cat Spoilers – Performance Not Good Enough

Later that day, Miley made another tweet apologizing to her fans in Paraguay, saying she wished she was there to perform for them, in her tweet she said “I wish I could’ve STAYed & performed for all of my fans in Paraguay. Please STAY safe. I love you.” She went on to include a video of her singing her single “Stay,” and dedicated the acapella performance to Paraguay and thanked them for making it No. 1 in their country. Doja had another show in Brazil the next day, being the 25th. She tweeted on the 24th that her performance wasn’t a good enough show and promised to do better the next day.

She said, “I’m sorry for that but thank you guys for coming out I fucking love you and thank god we got another show tomorrow I promise I’ll do better.”
