Why Justin Timberlake’s Latest Instagram Activity Is Making Fans Suspicious

Justin Timberlake is starting 2024 with a clean slate, especially following the controversies that wrought through to the end of 2023 – you know, via that Britney Spears thing.

On Monday, Jan. 8, fans discovered that Timberlake’s Instagram profile, which had accumulated over 72 million followers, was now blank.

Quite alright that he didn’t simply delete the profile, he just deleted his old posts and archived others. His profile picture was also removed.

At the moment, no one knows why the musician decided to wipe his profile clean, especially since he had been active on the social media platform through to the end of 2023. There’s speculations it could be because he’s gearing up to release new music.

However, his social media activity decreased somewhat last year when Britney Spears revealed he made her abort their baby. She also tried to exonerate herself from the “slutty” image Timberlake left her with following their very public breakup two decades ago by claiming they both cheated on each other.

In the memoir, Spears remembered feeling like the “harlot who’d broken the heart of America’s golden boy,” whereas their relationship and breakup wasn’t as simple as that.

Perhaps the claim that stung Timberlake’s image the most was the story of how he pressured her to abort their baby, which they conceived when they were both still in their early 20s.

“But Justin definitely wasn’t happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were way too young,” Spears wrote, explaining the circumstances that led to her deciding to terminate the baby by having an at-home abortion.

“I’m sure people will hate me for this, but I agreed not to have the baby. I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it had been left up to me alone, I never would have done it. And yet Justin was so sure that he didn’t want to be a father.”

While Timberlake didn’t personally respond to the claims, a source close to him revealed he was “disappointed” by what the “Toxic” singer chose to put in her book.

Timberlake is currently married to Jessica Biel, whom he shares two children with.
