At present, both sides are trying their hardest to maintain their integrity, and judging from Blake Lively’s reaction to that behind-the-scenes ‘It Ends With Us’ leak, you can easily guess that the girl doesn’t want this to turn into a media war.
If you asked Megyn Kelly, she pushed the button when she released that New York Times piece, so maybe there’s really no going back.
Legal Expert Reveals the Main Reason Why the Public Won’t Get A Firsthand Taste of Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni’s Legal Battle
It’s been five weeks since the ‘It Ends With Us’ drama piled off from backstage to the world stage when Lively, 37, officially filed a complaint with the California Civil Rights Department.
In it, she alleged that co-star Baldoni, 41, sexually harassed her onset and retaliated with a smear campaign after she spoke up.
In light of this, Baldoni filed a $250 million defamation lawsuit against The New York Times for publishing Lively’s accusations, and well, it’s been mostly one drama after another from there.
The main question now is, how much of the drama will the public be privy to once the court case kicks off?

Well, according to Lawyer Gregory Doll, very little actually. This will likely not be a repeat of the public affair that Depp and Heard’s lawsuit was turned into. The case would unfold in a federal court
“By filing in federal court, they foreclosed the possibility that there will be any cameras in the proceedings,” Doll said, further pointing out the strict rules that largely prohibits the usage of recording devices in court cases.
According to uscourts.gov, “Judicial Conference policy does not allow either civil or criminal courtroom proceedings in the district courts to be broadcast, televised, recorded, or photographed for the purpose of public dissemination.” It’s been known to happen in some cases, but it just isn’t the norm.
Doll believes the battle will begin in earnest in 2026, as both parties will take the time to provide evidence during the lengthy discovery phase. Doll also expects a settlement to take place before the case goes to court, since, according to him, the Depp/Heard case was a “rare exception.”
