Will Smith – Blows Kisses At Fans Amid Filming!

Back to filming and fans! Not even half a year after slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars, Will Smith has returned to his entertainment career. And the actor happily blew kisses at his fans amid filming, noted Entertainment Tonight.

However, the 53-year-old actor had to travel a long way from Hollywood for his latest entertainment venture. But Smith reportedly thrilled fans as he filmed Disney+’s Welcome to Earth TV series in Alausi, Ecuador. Will donned a yellow shirt and baseball cap to film on La Nariz del Diablo, a famous rail in Ecuador.

The filming will feature in the second season of the National Geographic show. And Smith also serves as narrator for the Disney project. However, while the actor’s fans gathered to watch him film, some celeb watchers wonder about Will’s future after that seen-around-the-world Oscars slap.

Will Smith – Tries To Reach Out To Chris Rock After Slap

Chris Rock and Will Smith have remained in the spotlight ever since that Oscars slap. But July saw Smith end his silence. And he spoke out in a video message to Chris, Rock’s family, friends, and Will’s own family. In that video, Smith sought to express his regrets to the other comedian.

However, some have hoped to see Will and Chris meet. But Smith shared that he did try to reach out to Rock. And the “message that came back” conveyed Rock’s decision not to meet yet. But an insider shared that Chris does not plan to reach out to Smith.

“Chris has no plans to reach out to Will,” shared the source. And the insider claimed that Smith timed his apology for himself. Will “needs the public’s forgiveness, not Chris Rock’s,” added the source.

However, another insider described Will as “feeling much more confident and much more positive and less depressed.” And Smith’s apology video helped his mood. “He was in very low spirits prior to making his public apology,” explained the source. But in the wake of the video, Will “feels less ashamed now and more comfortable being out and about in public again.”

And work has helped the actor, according to the insider. “Because he has and continues to do the work that needs to be done for himself, his wife, his family, his friends, his colleagues, his fans, The Academy, Chris and Chris’ family.” However, Smith also wants to convey a message. And despite that slap, Will seeks to “ingrain the idea that violence is never the answer and show the public that he was wrong and is regretful. But all people make mistakes and that we are all human, despite the career you may have.”
