And that relief stems from their mother Jada sharing her split from their father Will, according to an insider via Hollywood Life.
But the source spilled on how Willow and Jaden felt forced to pretend as if their parents remained together for the past seven years.

The siblings’ reaction comes amid their mom Jada Pinkett, 52, penning a memoir filled with bombshells. And in it, she confessed that she remained secretly separated from Will, 55, for years. But to hide that separation, Willow and Jaden needed to “pretend” that their parents remained happily married together.
And the insider shared that the siblings feel “glad they can now live the truth while in the spotlight.” But the years of lies made Willow and Jaden feel “extremely agitated.” And the siblings felt “uncomfortable” about discussing their parents’ marriage.
Jaden Smith – Feels ‘Relieved’
However, Willow and Jaden do love their famous mom, noted one source. But hiding her secret put a heavy burden on the siblings. “Jaden and Willow love their mom to no end,” said the insider. And the two even “take on many of her behaviors and traits.” But they feel “very relieved the news is finally out there,” said the insider. And now that the separation has become public knowledge, “everyone can just get on with it. They all want everyone to be true to themselves and not hold any more grudges or secrets,” added the source.
And with the bombshells dropped, “Jaden and Willow hope that everyone can now heal,” shared the insider. But the siblings have read “the attacks that their mom has gotten from all of this.” However, they “really hope people can trust their mom in the future,” added the source.

But another insider described Will and Jada as putting “their children in a very strange and uncomfortable situation.” And Willow reportedly felt upset with her mother for spilling so many family secrets. But she feels even angrier at her father Will, claimed the source.

“Willow holds so much animosity towards Will in particular. She will always take Jada’s side in things,” the insider commented. However, Willow “does not know why her mom had to go and tell the world all their dirty laundry. She feels like she is laughed at by all her peers.”
As for Jada’s revelation about her split from Will starting in 2016, she explained why it happened. “By the time we got to 2016, we were exhausted with trying,” said Jada. “I think we were both kind of still stuck in our fantasy of what we thought the other person should be.”
