Will Smith’s wife Jada Pinkett Smith joined those mourning the death of Stephen tWitch Boss. And she shared her heartbreak over news that the talented dancer and Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ had killed himself. Jada honored Stephen by remembering her time with him.

Jada Pinkett Smith – Mourns For Stephen tWitch After His Suicide

Stephen tWitch Boss’ wife Allison Holker Boss confirmed the sad news about her husband this week. And she shared that the beloved Ellen DeGeneres Show DJ and dancer died by suicide. As a result, those who worked with Stephen joined his family in mourning the loss of the talented 40-year-old, noted People.

For instance, Jada Pinkett Smith shared how much she cherished her experience co-starring on Magic Mike with Stephen. And she described her former co-star as “kind and generous.” Jada, 51, shared a social media pic in which she smiled with Stephen and their co-star Donald Glover.

“I woke up this morning to the news that tWitch is gone,” stated Pinkett Smith in her Instagram caption. And she added, “My heart aches for his wife Allison and their children Weslie, Maddox and Zaia.” Jada sent her “condolences to all his loved ones that he has left behind.”

As she looked back on her experience with Stephen on Magic Mike, Will Smith’s wife called the DJ/dancer “so sweet, kind and generous.” And Jada mourned, “So many people suffer in silence. I wish he could have known that he didn’t have to. May his beautiful, shining soul rest in the arms of the Great Supreme and may that same Higher Power heal the shattered hearts of his loved ones.”

Celebrities Join Jada Pinkett Smith In Honoring Stephen tWitch 

Jada got joined by a flock of celebrities mourning the loss of Stephen. For instance, news anchor Katie Couric and actress Viola Davis grieved for the talented father of three. Boss first became famous competing on MTV’s The Wade Robson Project. And he then made it to the runner-up category on Star Search. 

However, Stephen’s performance on So You Think You Can Dance provided a turning point in 2008. And though tWitch finished out season 4 as a runner-up, he returned first as an All Star and then as a judge. But beyond dancing in competitions, Boss lent his star power to TV shows such as Modern Family and movies like Magic Mike.

And in 2014, Stephen found a new niche as guest DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Six years later, Ellen promoted tWitch to co-executive producer. But as she mourned her loss, Stephen’s wife, 34, expressed her own views of her husband.

And Allison, 34, described how tWitch “lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends and community above all else,” she added. “And leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”

As she reflected on what Stephen meant to her, Allison shared, “To say he left a legacy would be an understatement, and his positive impact will continue to be felt. I am certain there won’t be a day that goes by that we won’t honor his memory. We ask for privacy during this difficult time for myself and especially for our three children.” And in the end, she shared a message for tWitch. “Stephen, we love you, we miss you, and I will always save the last dance for you.”
