Woody Allen death hoaxes happened more than once, and since alleged ties to the Epstein Files arrived, more popped up. Notably, the death repots were fake, and probably based on the original fact-checked report from 2020 by IBT Times. Why the frequency of this type of thing? Read on for more.
The Fake News
Some YouTube reports about Woody Allen were taken down. Probably, because they were faked. And, another death report this month also ended up flagged as definite fake news. Presumably, folks might think that the movie director deserves it because of prior Epstein-related news.
Woody is currently in Madrid preparing to shoot his next film, working-titled WASP 2026. He’s very much alive, and the project was backed by aid from the Madrid regional government.

Notably, the hoax “provided only a temporary distraction.” That’s because the release of “Hearts and Bones” emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s private correspondence remains a bit of a headache for PR. Through early January and into February, several outlets discussed Woody, his wife, and Epstein.
Inside ‘Castle Dracula’
Per New York Post, some unredacted emails from 2018 reveal Woody Allen and Jeffrey Epstein exchanging “inside jokes” about their reputations. Plus, Epstein, for some reason, sent him DNA testing kits: a particular quirk by the deceased convicted trafficker.
It’s old news now, but per WWBL in August last year, “The ‘Annie Hall’ director praised the late financier for his ability to connect a myriad of ‘interesting people’ at his lavish dinner parties, which Allen claimed he regularly attended with his wife Soon-Yi.”
Plus, Allen allegedly compared the financier’s Manhattan mansion to “Castle Dracula.” He jokingly noted that the home was “well served” by “young women” who reminded him of the female vampires in the old Lugosi films.
Soon-Yi vs #MeToo
Possibly, the most damaging content involves Allen’s wife, Soon-Yi Previn. Reportedly, much like Sarah Ferguson, she too engaged in emails with Epstein. Allegedly, in Previn’s case, she wrote an empathetic email to Epstein. per The Guardian.
In it, she commiserated over the “hysteria” of the #MeToo movement. Jokingly, the now infamous email referred to her saying, “Just as the Me Too movement has gone too far so has Botox.”
In the emails, Previn also attacked an underage victim in the Anthony Weiner sexting case. Notably, she described the child as “despicable and disgusting.” From her standpoint, the girl catfished him, saying she “reeled him in like fish to bait.”
The Bard College Connection
Furthermore, the Epstein files seemingly suggested that Woody Allen’s daughter, Bechet, gained admission to Bard College via Jeffrey Epstein’s connections. Sound familiar?
A January 2017 email from Woody’s account, signed by Previn, explicitly thanked Epstein for “getting Bechet into Bard” by connecting her with the school’s president. Notably, Bard College denied that, and claimed Bechet’s admission happened because of her merit.
Current Status & Fallout
While Allen works on his movie in Madrid, Spain, the fallout from his Epstein association never really went away. Allegedly, the 90-year-old gets little Hollywood support these days. Mind you, he dissed cancel culture, suggesting he filmed in Europe as a personal choice.
Nevertheless, the fallout claimed other victims. Recently, Woody Allen’s attorney, Brad Karp, resigned from his law firm. Apparently, that followed revelations that Karp asked Epstein to help his son land a job on a Woody Allen movie set.
