Zoë Kravitz Is Not In a Hurry To Have Kids Or Freeze Her Eggs

The 33-year-old actress candidly opened up in an interview with Elle about her future plans and how she wants to have fun for as long as she can. In the near future, having kids is not something that Zoë has got in her bucket list.

If the “Fantastic Beasts” actress is ever going to have her own family, she’s going to do it when she’s ready, not when people tell her she should be ready.

For the cover of the March 2022 issue of Elle, Zoë talked about parenthood, adding that she’s currently shaken off all the pressures to become a mother.

“We all go from being the baby, where you’re like, ‘I have so much time.’ And then, all of a sudden, your gynecologist is like, ‘Want to freeze your eggs?’ And I’m like, ‘I hadn’t even thought about that,’ “ Kravitz told the outlet.

“But I don’t feel pressured to have kids by a certain time, if I ever have kids,” she continued. “This idea of like, you’re 30. You’re a grown-up. Now you’re supposed to have kids and stop having fun, because that’s for children — I bought that for a second.”

The actress and model noted that she doesn’t go out much these days, though she still manages to have fun from time to time.

During the chat with ELLE, Kravitz insisted that there’s no age limit to having fun and just being happy and free.

“It’s been an interesting journey of remembering that there’s no finish line that I have to get to by a certain time,” she explained. “Playful, mischievous behavior is something I always hope to have, even when I’m 70 years old. The point of being alive is to experience life and play with it. There’s still so much fun to be had.”

On that same note, a race to parenthood is not something she’s currently looking forward to joining in.

Zoë Kravitz Says She’s Happy She’s Done With Her 20s

The actress also told the media outlet how she’s more comfortable in her 30s than she was in her 20s.

“I never want to go back. I was a mess. I wasn’t making choices based on what felt good to me,” she said. “Now we’re in an era of, ‘What do I actually want?’ The good spot right now is taking a minute to say, ‘Maybe I should do this differently’ and seeing what that feels like.”

She added that rediscovering who she is and knowing exactly what she wanted helped improve her general happiness.
