Zoë Kravitz Tried To Hit On 14-Year-Old Jaden Smith

After the incident that took place on Sunday, March 27 at the Oscar Academy Award, where Will Smith slapped Chris Rock for making a joke about his wife Jada Pinkette Smith’s shaved head, which was as a result of many years with alopecia, Zoë Kravitz took to Instagram to upload two photos she took at the Oscars.

The first picture was taken on the red carpet and her caption was “here’s a picture of my dress at the award show where we are apparently assaulting people on stage now.”

The second picture was taken from the afterparty and she yet again captioned it “and here is a picture of my dress at the party after the award show -where we are apparently screaming profanities and assaulting people on stage now.”

Although Will Smith has publicly apologized to Chris Rock for his actions, there’s been a divided opinion between social media users on the matter.

Regarding the post-Zoë made, a fan asked under the post “You don’t support him defending his wife?” a question to which Zoë replied “nope.” However, with Zoë’s comments, came attacks from social media users who went on to dig up her past where she was hitting on Will Smith’s son who was then 14-year-old.

The post-Zoë made about not being in support of Will’s action at the Oscar triggered a lot of people so much that they dug into Zoë’s past and it didn’t take long before her comments from a 2013 interview she had with V magazine resurfaced across Twitter.

During the interview, Zoë who was at the time 24, made several suggestive remarks about Will Smith’s son Jaden, who was 14 at the time. She said “There were moments that I was hanging out with Jaden and thinking, I can’t believe you’re 14, I have to check myself, like what I say to you, he has so much personality and so much swag, he is so much cooler than I am. And he’s so handsome, I was always like, When you’re older, you know, we’ll hang out… Nope, that’s inappropriate, you’re 14.”

With the repost of Zoë’s old interview, came fresh criticism, with several users calling her out. Someone tweeted “You tellin me Zoe Kravitz was tryna flirt with a 14 year old Jaden smith yet tried to diss will smith on Instagram,” the tweet went viral and received over 130,000 likes.

Another user wrote, “Zoe Kravitz was out here thirsting over a 14 year old Jaden smith WHAT.” Another echoed: “Why am I just finding out about Zoë Kravitz’s attraction to Jaden when he was a MINOR. This is sickening.”

Zoë Kravitz – Not Once But Twice?

In the heat of the attacks from the tweeter users, another interview of Zoë from two years later began circulating on Twitter. In the interview, Zoë called Jaden her “date” and “the love of my life.”

Someone posted “Anyways here in s Zoe Kravitz referring to a 16 year old Jaden Smith as ‘her date’ [and] ‘the love of her life’ and expressing that she ‘loves him’ all at her big age of 26.”

Another asked “how did nobody bat an eye when Zoe Kravitz (26) called Jaden smith (16) the love of her life / her date? nobody commented further on it? the reporter GIGGLED? what is with the normalization of predatory behavior in Hollywood LIKE? NO ONE THOUGHT THAT WAS WEIRD?”
