All My Children news teases that alumni Finn Wittrock, who played Tad Martin’s (Michael E. Knight) long lost son Damon Miller on the defunct ABC soap, will appear in a new thriller starring opposite Ben Affleck.
Finn Wittrock Currently Appears In The Biopic “Judy”
Finn currently appears in the biopic “Judy”, a biographical movie about the late actress and entertainer Judy Garland. Finn plays Mickey Deans, who was Judy’s fifth and last husband. Finn appeared as Damon Miller in the soap from 2009 to 2011 and played the long-lost son of Tad Martin and Langley Wallingford’s (Louis Edmonds) daughter, Hillary Wilson (Carmen Thomas).
Tad was only married to Hillary a very short time, but long enough for Damon to be conceived, who actually came to Pine Valley as the biological father of Stuart Colby, who had been adopted by Liza Colby (Marcy Walker). Bailey Wells (uncast character) was the birth mother. Damon got close to Colby Chandler (Natalie Hall) who believed in his innocence as he got into all kinds of trouble committing crimes. Damon had been tested as a bone marrow donor for JR Chandler (Ryan Bittle) but was not a match. Tad later finds Damon sleeping on a stretcher at Pine Valley Hospital. He offers Damon a home with him. Throughout a series of events, he is revealed as Tad’s son with Hillary.
The Name Of The Thriller Finn Wittrock Is Appearing In Is “Deep Water”
The thriller is called “Deep Water” and the movie centers around a young couple who indulge in mind games with those they love, and they turn deadly. It is based on the novel “Deep Water” written by Patricia Highsmith. The movie is still in filming and expected to release on November 13, 2020 per IMDB.com and also stars Ana deArmas as Melinda Van Allen. Ben Affleck plays Vic Van Allen.
The plot is described as a well-to-do husband who allows his wife to have affairs in order to avoid a divorce. However, the husband becomes a prime suspect in the disappearance of her lovers. Since appearing in All My Children, Finn has also appeared on television in several episodes of “American Horror Story.” He is also working in a series called “Ratched” which is post-production for the 2020-2021 season as well as other films, including “A Mouthful Of Air” as Ethan, “Deception Road” as Oscar, “Long Weekend” as Bart, and several episodes of the television series “American Crime Story”.
