Alec Musser Dead At Age 50
All My Children star Alec Musser became a beloved actor for his role of Del Henry on the ABC soap opera. And fans joined Alec’s family and friends in sharing heartbreak over the actor’s death at age 50, reported TV Insider.
The All My Children star’s fiancée, Paige Press, and his uncle broke the news about Musser’s death. And they revealed that he died on January 12 at his home in Del Mar, California. However, neither revealed the cause of death.
Born on April 11, 1973, Alec began his acting career on All My Children. And Musser received that role after winning a reality TV contest on SOAPnet, called “I Wanna Be a Soap Star.” But that prize proved invaluable: A contract with All My Children.
And Alec replaced Winsor Harmon in the role of Del Henry. Harmon portrayed the character in a total of 23 episodes from 1994 to 1995. However, Musser starred in a total of 43 episodes of All My Children between 2005 and 2007.

But in addition to All My Children, Musser starred in five episodes of the TV show Rita Rocks in 2009. And he also appeared in Desperate Housewives in 2011 and the web series Road to the Altar in 2009.
However, Alec moved into the world of film with a role in Grown Ups in 2010. And the actor also scored a role in The Phantom Executioner in 2010. As a result of Musser’s film achievements, actor Adam Sandler honored the All My Children star on Instagram.
And Sandler shared, “I loved this guy. Cannot believe he is gone. Such a wonderful, funny good man. Thinking of Alec Musser and his family and sending all my love. A true great sweetheart of a person.” Adam also posted a pic of Musser as Water Park Stud from Grown Ups.
But Alec’s role in Desperate Housewives marked his last time on TV. However, he also worked as a fitness model. And as a bodybuilder, Musser appeared on magazine covers ranging from Men’s Health to Exercise Health.
But Alec’s death meant heartbreak for his girlfriend. And Paige Press wrote, “RIP to the love of my life” in her Instagram Story. The All My Children star’s fiancée shared a picture of her 2023 vision board for their wedding plans, per Us.
And she added, “@alecmusser I will never stop loving you. My heart is so broken.” And in a separate post, Paige wrote, “I am never taking off my ring. [Alec], I love you forever.”
