Find out how the All My Children star got rumors soaring about dating. And learn the truth behind her meetup at a hotel in New York. Get all the details below.
All My Children Alum Susan Lucci On Blind Date?
Observers at an Upper East Side hotel in New York City felt certain that they had seen Susan Lucci on a blind date. And they made the assumption based on seeing the All My Children star, 76, meeting up with a younger man. However, the rumors about a blind date came from Susan herself, according to Page Six.
Lucci walked up to an apparent stranger at the hotel. And she asked him, “Are you [a person’s name]?” Based on Susan seeking to connect with someone she was scheduled to meet, observers assumed that the All My Children legend was looking for a blind date. But the man said “no and she left,” said one of the observers.
However, Lucci later succeeded in finding the right person. And gossip began when the All My Children star seemed “very into” her conversation with a man who looked “barely 30,” said one observer. However, that lunch for two involved business rather than romance.
Susan Lucci Meets With Producer For New Show?
The All My Children star met up with the much younger man as part of a “business meeting. She was with a producer,” said Susan’s rep. “But that’s all I can share at this time.” And so it seems as if the rumors need to focus on the potential for Lucci to star in a new show rather than date a new man.
Moreover, the All My Children star has shared that she doesn’t plan to date after mourning the loss of her husband. Susan and her husband Helmet Huber had remained together for 52 years before he died last year at the age of 84. And Lucci declared dating “not on my radar. He was a very hard act to follow,” she said about her beloved husband.
But the All My Children legend does enjoy attending events. For instance, she recently took time for the American Heart Association’s Red Dress Collection concert. And Lucci shared that she likes to visit with “amazing friends who like to be out and about. And I like to be out and about,” she added.
The All My Children star met Huber when she worked as a a waitress. He served as the executive chef at Red Salt Room restaurant at Long Island’s Garden City Hotel in the ’60s. The couple welcomed two children during their long and happy romance together.
