Frank Grillo, formerly known as Frank Jessup on “Guiding Light,” is set to recur on the upcoming fifth season of “Billions.” He’ll take on the role of the “modern artist” Nico Tanner. The show, which stars Paul Giamatti and Damian Lewis, is currently in production in New York and is expected to premiere in 2020.
The show helmed and executive produced by Brian Koppelman, David Levien, and Andrew Ross Sorkin. In season 4, viewers say Bobby Axelrod (Lewis) and Chuck Rhoades (Giamatti), and Wendy Rhoades (Maggie Siff) worked together to eradicate their rivals. They include Grigor Andolov (guest star John Malkovich), Taylor Mason (Asia Kate Dillon), Bryan Connerty (Toby Leonard Moore) and Waylon “Jock” Jeffcoat (guest star Clancy Brown).
Other Actors Joining The Cast
“Billions” is expanding its portfolio so fans can expect to see other big names join the list of cast members. Aside from Grillo, Julianna Marguiles and Corey Stoll will also guest star in Season 5. Marguiles is set to appear in several episodes as Catherine Bran, a famous sociology professor, and bestselling author while Stoll will recur as Michael Prince, a business titan from Indiana.
Since the end of “The Good Wife,” Marguiles starred on “Dietland” and “The Hot Zone.” Meanwhile, Stoll recently appeared on HBO’s “The Deuce,” FX’s “The Strain,” and Netflix’s “House of Cards.” Plus, he’s expected to return to Netflix in “Ratched.”
