She got involved in illegal (and dangerous) skin bleaching. She even stole a credit card to order what she needed to continue lightening her skin.

After Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) got her counseling, she did a striptease for her boyfriend. However, the images ended up being sent to everyone in the school. Not only did the entire community see Asha’s striptease, but the video also landed on an adult website.

Now, Asha has gotten on birth control and Dev publicly freaked out, accusing Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) of pressuring the teen girl into sex.

Aadi Alahan’s Simmering Rage

While Asha is getting all the attention, Dev is trying to save his daughter from destroying her life. But that means Aadi gets left in the dust. Not only is he dealing with resentment and jealousy, but he’s overly involved in his twin sister’s love life. He might feel that Asha will continue to embarrass the family.

Social Responsibility Story For Alahan Twins

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that earlier this year, executive producer Iain MacLeod teased that the Alahan twins would be thrown into a social responsibility story. Now, he made it clear that it involved both Asha and Aadi, not just the teen girl. So, this is having fans speculate, along with picking up clues from recent episodes.

Honor Killing Ahead?

According to Express, there is a possibility that Aadi will eliminate the source of all the family’s problems. His twin sister, Asha. She is always the center of attention and her issues have nearly bankrupted the family. Some fans are saying on Twitter that Asha has brought “shame” onto the family repeatedly. But she continues doing what she wants anyway.

Now, their culture views teen independence completely differently than we do. They also tend to handle defiance, especially from females, in brutal ways. Could Aadi do the unthinkable and murder his twin sister in an “honor killing?” That is what some viewers predict. It would be horrifying, but these honor killings actually happen more often than people realize.

It would be devastating for everyone, but especially Dev. His wife has already passed away and now he might lose Asha. In addition to that, if Aadi does commit an honor killing, Dev would lose the last remaining member of his family to the prison system. Let’s hope that there will be a happier ending than what fans are speculating.
