Corrie spoilers reveal that ever since Oliver Battersby (Jeremiah and Emmanuel Battersby) received his fatal diagnosis, Leanne has been struggling. The last time we saw Les was 13 years ago. Jones played the character from 1997 to 2007. The taxi driver made his exit so he could fulfil his dream of being a roadie for ZZ Top of the Mornin. At the time, He told his adoptive son, Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) that he would be back, but eventually the young man realized that Les was not returning.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that it’s possible Les could return, but he wouldn’t be the same. The actor explained, “He could not just walk in there and be Les again. He would be different. I think he would still be that cocky. Never say never is my answer. I have done other TV series since I left there. But it is a privilege people still know me as Les and it is a great tribute to the show. I must have achieved something.”

Coronation Street Spoilers – 60th Anniversary

Jones didn’t just talk about the possibility of Les returning, but also mentioned the soap’s upcoming 60th anniversary. He thinks that the show could last another 100 years or even forever.

“I think the show will go on forever. I was lucky enough to do the live 40th anniversary show. We all met Prince Charles after that.The strength of the Street is the writing, the cast and the crew. You cannot walk in that street and think you are a big whatever….you have got to be part of it. It becomes a big family unit and it is one for all and all for one in there.”
