ITV Coronation Street spoilers and updates reveal that we are beginning to find out some information about Carla Connor’s (Alison King) secret time when she vanished last year. It has to do with Chelsey (Isobella Hubbard) bribing Carla and informing her she destroyed a lot of drugs. However, there could be a “blood” twist that comes along with this seemingly random and explosive secret.

Corrie spoilers reveal that a woman would come slithering into Weatherfield and begin asking questions about Carla. We saw that event unfold last week. We know that this young woman’s name is Chelsey and has already started trouble.

Chelsey claims that last year, Carla stayed at her squat. However, while she was there, she destroyed a ton of drugs. They want to be repaid for what they lost and are demanding money. This sickens Carla, partly because she doesn’t remember any of this, and also because of how bold this young woman is in demanding cash.

Random Event Probably Not So Random After All

Coronation Street spoilers from Express tease that this random event might not be so random after all. In soaps, almost nothing is a coincidence. There is a reason why Chelsey has arrived now and we highly doubt it’s just for money. She seems far too interested in Carla’s entire life for that.

Coronation Street Updates – From Bribery To Bloodline Bombshell

It is suggested that bribery might turn into a bloodline bombshell. Now, fans need to remember that Carla’s family is riddled with secrets, some of those being surprise siblings. Just look at the big reveal about Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley) having an affair years ago, which led to the birth of a child nobody knew anything about. Carla also discovered she had siblings: Kate Connor (Faye Brookes), Aidan Connor (Shayne Ward), and killer Rob Donavon (Marc Bayliss).

So, it wouldn’t come as too much of a surprise to viewers if another family relation was discovered. What do you think of this theory? Could it be possible that the bribery will turn into a much bigger storyline that involves a bloodline bombshell?

It seems way too random, too convenient, and a blackmailer wouldn’t be as fascinated and interested in Carla’s life outside of getting the cash. We will just have to keep watching the ITV soap to see how this storyline develops over the next few weeks.
