Coronation Street Spoilers – Protecting Asha Alahan

Corrie spoilers reveal that Dev has gone to great lengths to try and protect Asha from her issues and mistakes. Just when we got past the skin lightening storyline, she ended up in a striptease scandal. Dev took both of his children out of the public school system and enrolled them in an expensive private school. Not only did he have that tuition to pay, but hired a reputation management service to help protect Asha.

Mounting Money Problems

Even though Dev tries to hide the truth from his kids, it is becoming clear that he is in serious financial trouble. He even considered quick loans, which have astronomical interest rates and basically, legal crooks that get people caught in a never-ending cycle. He has cut down on employees’ hours at the shop, which is sparking concern.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Considering Selling Shop

AMP in the post

Coronation Street spoilers previously teased that everyone would be shocked when Dev met a real estate agent at the shop. He was considering selling the business because he can’t see any way out of his financial mess. It seems that the harder he fights to get out of this hole, the worse it gets for him.

Suspicious Robbery

During the week of October 5, the shop will be robbed. The thieves clean the entire place out, including the register. Now, considering Dev’s mounting money problems, this is really suspicious. When Johnny Connor (Richard Hawling) hears about the robbery, he accuses Scott Emberton (Tom Roberts). However, Dev will later reveal that the police caught the criminals.

Was it really just a random robbery or was this Dev’s idea in order to collect insurance and pay off his debts? The timing seems awful convenient considering he was just contemplating selling last week. We will have to keep watching the ITV soap opera to see how this storyline develops over the next few weeks.
