Coronation Street Spoilers: Elaine Rejects Her Son, Tim Flips Out Over Being Abandoned Again

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that in Weatherfield Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) will end up feeling rejected and abandoned all over again. Even though Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) has a very good reason for it, Tim struggles to understand. It is also teased that after months of struggling, Tim will continue to have a hard time. He will need to go through the journey of recovery because of his father.

Corrie spoilers reveal that Geoff Metcalfe (Ian Bartholomew) lied to his son for his entire life. He always thought that a woman named Tess was his mother. However, he was told earlier this year that Geoff lied to him when Elaine came out of nowhere. At the time, Tim didn’t believe that Elaine was his mother and pushed her away. Then, she mysteriously disappeared.

He has found her in a psychiatric hospital and now knows the truth. But there is so much he is dealing with in regard to the truth about his father.

When Tim suddenly asks Elaine (Paula Wilcox) to move in with him. Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) doesn’t think it’s a good idea and neither does Elaine. She isn’t sure what to say or how to handle this situation. As much as she wants to develop a connection and relationship with Tim, (Joe Duttine) she is terrified that it will go bad. That is the last thing she wants, but also doesn’t want to hurt Tim. She can see that her son is struggling.

Coronation Street spoilers from Inside Soap magazine reveal that when Elaine doesn’t immediately say yes to Tim’s offer, he freaks out. He clearly has abandonment issues and feels that her not moving in with him is just another rejection. That’s not really what is going on, but that is how Tim is seeing things.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Long Road Of Recovery Teased

Eventually, Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) tells Elaine that she needs to be open and honest with Tim. The next time she sees him, he is less manic and more willing to listen. So, she does what Alya says and hopes that Tim isn’t to hurt by it. It seems that he does eventually understand why Elaine won’t move in with him. However, there are other issues Tim will have to face. Sally, Alya, Elaine and Yasmeen Metcalfe (Shelley King) were not Geoff’s only victims. Tim was too, and he will have a long road to recovery as he comes to terms with that.
