Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) will cause a rift between her and Faye Windass (Elle Mulvaney) in upcoming scenes as the barmaid listens to her heart despite her friend’s warning.
The duo has been covering for their involvement in the old man Ted’s (Duggy Brown) death who they accidentally knocked over when the drunk Emma was assisted by the beginner driver Faye on the way home from New Year’s Eve party.
From then on, they have manipulated situations that pulled Faye’s police boyfriend Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) into the problem but tampered with the evidence anyway to stop his colleagues from discovering the truth. Craig even had to leave his job because his guilt was eating him after having “broken” his oath.
But it seems like Emma will forget her team’s sacrifices when Ted’s only grandson Jon (Jordan Ford Silver) asks her out on a date. Can Faye stop her friend from entering the cursed relationship?

When the two share meals at the Speed Daal, Jon has fallen in love, assuming that she too is fascinated with him. However, Faye understandably gets furious after learning about the date, reminding Emma how far Craig has gone in order to save them from ending up in prison.
Later, Emma assures Faye she’ll cut connections with Jon but when she receives an invitation from him for a drink, she’s torn. The more that she’s tempted to give in to his requests when he catches her watching film clips on her phone and suggests they go for a movie night. But will Emma break her promise with Faye?
If ever alcoholic drinks are on the menu, will she drunkenly confess to Jon about her involvement with Ted’s untimely demise?
