Coronation Street Spoilers: Simon Gregson Attracts Huge Backlash Over Sweary Tweets – Can’t Remember Drunk Tweets

Coronation Street star Simon Gregson has found himself in hot water recently and has decided to set the record straight and to admit to why he sent the tweet. He admitted in a recent tweet that he does not recall ever sending the tweets where he branded Dominic Cummings’ critics as ‘d**kheads’ and where he called journalist ‘k**b sucks’ because he had been drunk at the time that he wrote those tweets.

The tweet that he wrote stated, “This discussion gives me the s**ts. Family first ALWAYS. Regardless. ‘People have crawled through s**t , gun fire, climbing over dead friends to be with. Put your bullst away dick Ed’s [heads] coz you’d do the same. Plus back off press 2 Mtrs k**b sucks.”

Coronation Street Spoilers – Upsetting Fans

His words made his followers upset and he received backlash from his fans as well as key workers and nurses on the frontline. They were not happy to hear that he was defending the Prime Minister’s chief adviser. They were even more upset by what was implied as it seems that he was saying that anyone who cared about their family would have done the same.

Many of Simon’s followers became angry and some changed their view of him and began to brand his comments a ‘disgrace’ while others tried to stop him by urging him to ‘get a grip’.

Coronation Street Spoilers – Time Away From the Phone

One of his followers responded saying, “I assume you won’t be clapping for the NHS again? Saying it’s okay to travel anywhere with Covid19 symptoms is slapping the NHS in the face. I lost my wonderful brother in law and he was just 10 miles away & I couldn’t see him. HOW DARE YOU INFER I DIDN’T GIVE A S**T ABOUT HIM.”

He decided to distance himself from the tweets by saying “Ok I take it back to understand that we could all ways do that. So I hold my hands up and say. BD choice of words. But. Wouldn’t you? Fine line people. Let’s not be told but imagine.” He has since deleted all tweets relating to the matter and the Coronation Street representatives have decided to decline to comment about the matter.

Simon would go on to take a break away from his phone saying to his followers, “Well sober me has no idea what drunk me was going on about. Time to maybe step away from the phone.’ His followers appear to be a little more sympathetic now, with some assuring him that they had ‘all been there.”
