In upcoming scenes on “Coronation Street,” the guilt-stricken Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) will reveal her involvement in Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) and Seb Franklin’s (Harry Visinoni) attack. She will be unfazed by Corey Brent’s (Maximus Evans) threats to keep quiet and tell Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) the truth.

Viewers know that Summer tagged along with Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) and Corey as they hang out with their other friends at the canal the night Nina and Seb got attacked. Asha went home first when Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) started to tease her and Summer about their reaction after they were told that the car they used to drive there was stolen.

Summer stayed for a bit longer. But when Corey and his friends started yelling nasty things at Nina, Summer decided to leave, which means she wasn’t there when the attack happened.

As the police start to investigate, Corey is trying his best to cover up his tracks. So, he threatens Summer to keep her mouth shut or else he’ll tell the police that she was there when the attack happened and that she was also involved in stealing the car.

Summer is left troubled and feeling guilty after her conversation with Corey. She’ll eventually decide to reveal the truth to Todd. She tells him that she was at the canal on the night of the attack but she didn’t see anything because she left early.

When Billy Mayfew (Daniel Brocklebank) tells Summer to talk to the police after he finds out that Summer was with Corey and his mates when they were driving around a stolen car.

Later that week, Summer runs off after getting bullied by someone at school. Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) notices it and Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) tries to look for her. He finds Summer in Victoria Garden and she starts confiding in him. Summer admits that she feels guilty for leaving early. She could have forced Kelly to come with her that night before the attack took place.

After her heart-to-heart talk with Paul, Summer disappears once again. Billy is worried when he finds out that she’s not in school. Where could Summer be and is she alright? Next week, the police will reveal that they’ve changed someone for the attack, which seems to have been triggered by Nina’s appearance.
