Coronation Street Spoiler Insights

Corrie spoilers reveal that Yasmeen is giving the chance to ask the court for a postponement, but she just wants to get it over with. Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) represents her, and they get started. When Geoff is testifying as to what happened that night, he lies and makes Yasmeen (Shelley King) out to be a rageful, abusive alcoholic.

Video Evidence

Imran has evidence that can prove Geoff was abusive to Yasmeen. There is video footage from a phone that shows Geoff’s controlling and nasty behavior. When Geoff is forced to answer questions, he confesses that Elaine Jones (Paula Wilcox) might not be dead after all.

Now, the video footage should shock the court and prove Geoff’s (Ian Bartholomew) abusive nature. However, the prosecution rips apart everything the defense brings. This not only includes Yasmeen and the video footage, but Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) and Sally Metcalfe’s (Sally Dynevor) testimonies.

Elaine Jones Found

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that Alya was counting on Elaine coming forward and helping to prove Geoff’s the abuser, not Yasmeen. She is found at a psychiatric hospital, but confides in Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine). She worries that even though she’s in the hospital, Geoff may have been spying on her. It is determined that Elaine’s mental state probably won’t help Yasmeen at all.

Yasmeen Metcalfe’s Future

Even though we don’t know what happens at the end of Yasmeen’s trial, there is a good chance she is found not guilty. Actress Shelley King recently teased the future of her character and it sounds like she’s going to get her spunk and confidence back. It also indicates that she gets out of prison and is once again a free woman.

What do you think Yasmeen’s fate will be when the trial is over? Will she end up being released? Or will Geoff end up winning despite the evidence showing he’s an abuser? We will have to keep watching the ITV soap opera to find out.
