Eva’s Stepson Worries
As the Driscoll family settles into Weatherfield, it quickly becomes obvious that they are facing challenges, particularly with their teenage son, Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale).
True to the style of Corrie, he is keeping a few secrets; Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley), Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker), and Maggie Driscoll (Pauline McLynn) are thrilled about Will’s arrival in Weatherfield.
However, when Ollie Driscoll (Raphael Akuwudike) mentions that Will didn’t show up at the train station, the family starts to panic.
Maggie reminds Eva that Will was reluctant to leave Hull in the first place; amidst their concern, David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) appears wearing Ben’s rugby shirt. Previously framed, eager to get revenge after being ridiculed- Eva cautions him that he has no idea who he is dealing with!
Ben Returns From Hull, Unable To Find Will

Later in the week, Ben comes back from Hull after failing to find Will. Little do they know, he’s just around the corner and has persuaded Lily Platt (Brooke Malonie) to get his passport from the pub. When she goes to get it, she tells his worried parents everything.
They feel relieved when the teen finally shows up with Megan (uncredited), his athletics coach, who explains that she found him settling down for the night in his old changing rooms. Ben and Eva insist that he must explain himself, but all he can say is that he wanted to stay in East Yorkshire.
Ben’s Suspicious
Ben has a growing suspicion that there is more beneath the surface of the situation after stumbling upon a love note. He comes to the realization that his son was seeking his passport – but what secrets is he keeping?
On the very first day at Weathy High, Will manages to convince Liam Connor (Charlie Wrenshall) to ditch school.

As they enjoy their day away from classes, he opens up to his new friend about his girlfriend. It isn’t long before Maggie discovers the boys indulging in a beer. How will she react to this unexpected situation?
‘Swarla’ Wedding Mess
Elsewhere, Carla Connor (Alison King) is not happy with Becky Swain’s (Amy Cudden) actions, and her anger grows when Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) is conflicted about who she wants to be with.
Carla is very upset with Becky, having expected that it would only be a short time before Becky returned to her usual place. Lisa tells her that this isn’t the case, but Carla still insists that she should not be involved in their future.
Becky claims that she still loves her estranged wife and believes that the feelings are mutual. Betsy hopes that a family vacation in Spain will help ease the tension; will Carla agree to this?
Lisa Looks For A Way To Legally Marry Carla
Meanwhile, Lisa is looking for a way to marry Carla and seeks advice from DI Costello (Daon Broni). He informs her that the only way to truly move on is to go back to being ‘dead’.
Later, when Lisa shares this conversation with her fiancée and mentions the possibility of being charged with bigamy, Carla accuses her of wanting to keep her options open for a reunion.
Costello’s frustration surfaces, and he warns Becky that she must board the flight he has booked for her tomorrow, or he will kill her like he did Tia Wardley (uncast)!
Tracy Sabotages Cassie’s New Job
Tracy is in conflict with Cassie again, Tracy receives a box of wine intended for Ken Barlow (William Roache) and realizes it’s from Cassie as a substitute for the alcohol she consumed recently. Angry, she visits the cab office and accuses Cassie of trying to win over her dad.
Seeking revenge, she chooses to turn off the switchboard at Street Cars, putting Cassie’s first day at work at risk!
Later, Tracy opts to call for a truce – but it comes with a stipulation. She wants Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) to give up his claim on the florists in their divorce settlement; eager to retaliate, Cassie sets up her own prank.
Carl Tries To Steal Money From Debbie
Carl is attempting to get his hands on the hard-earned money of his sister Debbie. Debbie wishes for Carla to take a more active role in managing the Chariot Square Hotel and overseeing the financial aspects of her leisure portfolio.
After reviewing the financial records, he proposes that she take a vacation to celebrate her achievements, leaving her with something to ponder. Later, as she focuses on a booking, he seizes her phone and presents her with a confirmation for a getaway.
Debbie Remembers Nothing
She has no memory of making the reservation, and he claims it must have been an accident.
Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) supports the notion and tries to downplay her mistake, while Carl requests access to her bank account to handle bills during her absence. Is he really planning to swindle his own sister?
That would very low-especially with Debbie’s failing health. Yet, no one would put it past him!
David Blows It On His And Shona’s Anniversary
David decides to pull a prank on Shona Platt (Julia Goulding) by pretending that he has surprised her with a six-pack of drinks to celebrate their anniversary. In reality, he has made a reservation at the bistro for a special dinner.
However, upon their arrival, he realizes that he has made a mistake with the reservation date. Instead of the intended evening, he accidentally booked the table for the next night.
As a result, they find themselves in an uncomfortable situation, having to share a table with Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) and Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien) – how awkward!
