Coronation Street Spoilers – Script Rewrites And Missing Characters

Corrie spoilers previously revealed that adjustments had to be made when it was announced that senior citizens had the highest risk. There are several actors on the show that are in their 70s and 80s. This meant rewriting scripts since those actors were self-isolating at home.

Eventually, production stopped as everyone entered quarantine. However, show boss Iain MacLeod recently assured fans that scriptwriting is happening at home and to look forward to some great storylines.

Coronation Street Spoilers – When Will Filming Resume?

Actor Andy Whyment (Kirk Sutherland) spoke about the production shutdown on the United Podcast, the Mirror reported. He predicts there are enough episodes to last until the beginning of July. Whyment said everyone is hoping to be back filming by June.

The actor explained that airlines are estimating that planes will be back in the air by mid-June. He believes that if air traffic can resume, then the sets should be open by then too. However, there are no guarantees, but he is optimistic.
