Corrie spoilers reveal that Yasmeen was shocked when Elaine confessed her real identity and that she used to be married to Geoff. The two women’s stories were practically identical. Even though Elaine had no interest in facing Geoff and testifying, Alya and Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) were hoping to change her mind.

As we saw last week on the ITV soap opera, Elaine was distracted when she was walking down the sidewalk talking on her cell phone. So, she wasn’t aware of her surroundings and that Geoff had pulled up behind her. He got out of his car and when Elaine hung up the phone, she found herself backed into a corner by the ex-husband she feared. She tried to stand up to him, but her terror was obvious. Geoff continued to intimidate and threaten her.

Coronation Street spoilers reveal that since being cornered by Geoff, Elaine has disappeared. Nobody can reach her and we did see Geoff destroyed her phone after he left. However, we didn’t see Elaine and don’t know if she is alive or dead. There is always a chance that Geoff scared her into running off. However, there is also an equal possibility that he killed her.
Coronation Street Spoilers – Yasmeen Metcalfe Safer In Prison?
Express speculated that due to Elaine disappearing, it could ruin Yasmeen’s chances of being cleared. However, we have a slightly different prediction. Due to Yasmeen saying she feels safer in prison, Elaine’s whereabouts unknown and Geoff becoming more desperate, could the abuse victim change her plea? Could she decide that in order to protect her own life, it might be better to accept a guilty sentence?
Honestly, it would not be the first time that a victim chose prison to protect themselves from their abuser. Unfortunately, many abusers have a “public persona” that has everyone fooled. However, we expect a happy ending for Yasmeen in this story. Hopefully, Geoff will finally be dealt with and Yasmeen can live her life without being in fear. We will have to keep watching the ITV soap opera to see how this story develops.
