Artem Chigvintsev & Nikki Garcia Settle Their Divorce

Dancing With the Stars alum Artem Chigvintsev was arrested and then not charged for alleged domestic violence, and he and Nikki Garcia looked set for a protracted divorce case. However, the news has arrived they settled it already, and are ready to move on with their lives.

Artem Chigvintsev & Nikki Bella Got Restraining Orders

It was meant to be a wedding anniversary celebration in Napa, but instead, it turned into the end of the marriage for the parents of their four-year-old son Matteo. Nikki Bella took out a restraining order on the Dancing With the Stars alum after he was released with no charges. 

Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Bella were then expected to go hard in a custody fight over their son. Furthermore, he wanted financial support from his wife. It all looked set for a big public fight in court to settle their differences in the divorce. But, that hasn’t happened.

This week, TMZ reported that court documents revealed the couple settled their divorce by mutual agreement. So, it won’t drag on. They were due to have a court hearing in about two weeks. But, instead, it’s all been wrapped up. 

Artem Chigvintsev and Nikki Garcia have agreed to drop the restraining orders going forward. But, it’s not clear if Nikki Garcia will pay the Dancing with the Stars alum any financial support. One thing that fans are happy about, is that they will share custody of little Matteo.

When the outlet shared their story on Instagram, Dancing With the Stars fans were quick to jump into the comments section. Actually, it became clear that a lot of fans are Team Artem rather than team Nikki Garcia.
