Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) fans still adore former host Tom Bergeron. And when the DWTS ex-host shared an unexpected secret on Instagram, he earned appreciation from fans. However, Bergeron also has shared his support for the new Dancing With The Stars hosts.
Find out what Tom posted on social media that delighted fans. And learn what the former DWTS host said about the new hosts. Get all the details below.
Tom Bergeron – Spills DWTS Secret
Former Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) host Tom Bergeron enjoys reflecting on his DWTS years. And recently, Tom turned to Instagram to reveal a previously hidden prank from Dancing With the Stars. As he revealed on social media, Bergeron used a rather unusual ID card when he worked on DWTS. And it actually dates back to 2002, according to Good Housekeeping.
Taking a turn as a guest star on Star Trek: Enterprise, the former Dancing With The Stars host portrayed an alien trader named D’Marr on a 2002 episode. And Tom confessed to his social media followers how he used images from Star Trek for his badget. “For years, this was my actual security badge at @tvc.studios,” admitted the former host in a reference to his time filming Dancing With the Stars. “The resemblance is uncanny.”
And among those responding, Tom’s former DWTS co-host shared her love. “I miss [you] and this,” wrote Erin. And Bergeron’s fans agreed. For instance, one wrote appreciatively, “Oh gosh. I’m so glad you’re in the world. ❤️.” And another teased, “This looks exactly like you.” Several gushed over Bergeron’s sense of humor.
Tom Bergeron – Supports DWTS Changes
But while the former Dancing With the Stars host can’t resist a chance to joke, Bergeron seems just as quick to support others. And when Tom learned that Julianne Hough would replace Tyra Banks as co-host with Alfonso Ribeiro for DWTS season 32, he promptly praised the two. “Glad the show’s in good hands,” shared Bergeron on Instagram.
Dancing With The Stars season 32 will also differ from season 31 in terms of its availability. In the wake of last season airing only on Disney+, DWTS will make its ABC comeback for season 32. However, it will also stream live on Disney+ and become available the following day on Hulu. And though ABC has not stated the exact debut date, it will return in autumn 2023. The network also confirmed that the show will air on Mondays at 8/7c via Gold Derby.
And while Julianne and Alfonso prep for co-hosting, they plan to divide and conquer. Ribeiro will take over Tyra’s role of hosting on the actual dance floor. And Hough will move into Ribeiro’s role in the skybox. But watch for the two to possibly team up on the dance floor as well. “Funny enough, Julianne and I might end up dancing a little bit. That might happen,” teased Ribeiro.
