DWTS Host Returns To TV

Erin Andrews became a familiar face and cornerstone on Dancing With The Stars, the sports reporter co-hosted the reality TV competition with Tom Bergeron from 2014-2019 and appeared in ten seasons.

Before Erin took over for Brooke Burke-Charvet as a DWTS host, she actually danced in the competition and finished in third place for the Mirror Ball Trophy (she was partnered with pro dancer Maksim Chmerkovsky).

Since leaving Dancing With The Stars in 2021, Andrews has hosted a pod cast called  “Calm Down with Erin and Charissa.”  On the most recent episode of the podcast, Erin made a big announcement and revealed that she was returning to TV.

The former DWTS host revealed, “I’m going on a trip, I’m going on a work trip on Friday and I’m leaving for a while to film a new game show for FOX.  And I’m very nervous, I have a ton of anxiety. But I’m excited.  I am excited to get back into that world. Obviously, it’s been a minute since I got the boot from “Dancing With the Stars” with Tom Bergeron.”

The new show that Erin Andrews is hosting is called “99 To Beat” and is actually an American version of a hit game show that began airing in Britain back in 2018.  FOX has high hopes for the new show, and it sounds like they could have a hit on their hands.

99 To Beat – Hosted By Erin Andrews

Per the show’s official synopsis, “100 contestants compete in a range of simple, quirky, and hilarious games with one rule: don’t come last.

As contestants battle against each other, the number of players is whittled down each round until one person takes the cash prize.”  So basically it’s like Squid Games, except you don’t die.
