Dancing With The Stars (DWTS) season 31 became a turning point for the competition TV show. For instance, DWTS debuted on Disney+ as the first live streaming competition series. And the late Len Goodman made his final appearance as a Dancing With The Stars judge last season. But in addition, Tyra Banks ended her time on the dance competition.
And now Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba feels ready to offer her thoughts on the show. Find out what the DWTS judge shared. And learn what changes await in season 32 below.
Dancing With The Stars – Judge Carrie Ann Inaba Reflects On Past Season
Turning to social media, Dancing With The Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba posted a look back at season 31. And she expressed appreciation to those who helped make it a memorable year for her. Carrie Ann posted a recap video that included fellow judges Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough, noted Yahoo.
“I want to thank everyone who was a part of last year,” shared the DWTS judge. “All in all, it was a really good year. It was a year of growth, learning how to work with my body and health, removing what doesn’t work,” she pointed out. “And DWTS came back with a boom!”
However, Carrie Ann confessed that it did feel “grueling” occasionally. But the DWTS personality called it “her favorite season in a long time.” And she praised “every single person who worked on @dancingwiththestars this year” for working “harder than they ever have before. It was a thrill,” added Carrie Ann. As a result of the change from ABC, the DWTS judge feels she enjoyed an “intoxicating refresh.”
DWTS – Season 32 Features Change
But as the Dancing With the Stars judge looked ahead, she pointed out that change “is inevitable.” And Carrie Ann added, “So grateful to be a part of the lasting legacy that brought dance back into the mainstream conversation. As we know, life is always changing,” she shared. “And even though change can be scary it’s the very essence of being alive.”
But Carrie Ann vowed to embrace the changes that season 32 will bring. And she shared that when “you embrace [change], it embraces you back.” DWTS fans will get the chance to experience significant changes when the new season begins. For example, rather than Tyra Banks, Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro will co-host.
And other changes will occur in season 32. For instance, DWTS will return to ABC after moving to Disney+ from the network. And the judging panel will change as well. Prior to his death, Len Goodman had shared his retirement plans. As a result, Derek Hough will join Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli. The panel might stay at three judges or DWTS may decide to rotate guest judges.
