Not only are her fans supporting her, both her closest friends and family members, too. Christie recently told People Magazine that while her kids weren’t so sure about her chances in the ballroom, they are excited to see her and other celebrity contenders show off what they’ve got this season.

“They got really excited when they started hearing about some of the other people that were coming,” Christie told the publication.
