“Dancing With The Stars”, Season 33: Will “Survivor” Legend Parvati Shallow Join The Cast?

There’s a buzz that Parvati Shallow may be headed to Dancing With The Stars (DWTS). After toughing it out on Survivor in four different seasons (not to mention scoring the $1 million prize while on Survivor: Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites), the dancing competition would be a breeze for her, right?

Still, Parvati is not only a Survivor alum, she also recently appeared on The Traitors, and it looks like there’s a good chance she could also join the cast of DWTS, Season 33. Here’s what we know so far.

“Dancing With The Stars”, Season 33: Parvati Shallow Drops Some Hints

Rumors of Shallow appearing on DWTS began when the former Survivor alum dropped some clues that were picked up by social media user Lauren-Ashley Beck.

The first one was back in February when Parvati told Entertainment Weekly that she wanted “… to do something that would be more of performance-based, maybe a physical kind of challenge, like Dancing With the Stars.”

This came mere months after DWTS “liked” a video of Shallow on Survivor’s official Tik Tok handle, in December 2023, despite it being originally posted in March of that year.

Then the biggest tease was more recently when one fan wrote a comment on Parvati’s June 7th IG post, noting, “PLEASE go on Dancing with the Stars!!!” Shallow responded with, “you got it.”

In addition, Parvati spoke with Soaps.com at The Grove in L.A. days after this, during Peacock’s The Traitors Castle Garden, addressing the rumors by stating, “I would do Dancing With the Stars. I mean, we had [former pro] Maks [Chmerkovskiy on Season 2 of The Traitors]. I know, I’m like really putting it out there.” It’s important to note that the talent executive for Traitors, Deena Katz, also works on DWTS, so Shallow would definitely have an “in”.

“Dancing With The Stars”, Season 33: No Confirmation, As Of Yet

As of this writing, Shallow’s involvement in DWTS, Season 33 has not been confirmed. Still, it looks as if all arrows are pointing in that direction. Only time will tell.

Parvati first jumped into the land of reality television in 2006 when she competed on Survivor: Cook Island, finishing in 6th place. Meanwhile, she took the top spot in Survivor: Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites in 2008 and was the runner-up in Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains in 2010. She also was a part of Survivor’s Season 40 in 2020, Winners at War. Shallow recently participated in The Traitors, Season 2 earlier this year.
