And ABC also proved that hosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough know their dance moves in its DWTS promo. The video demonstrated that promises of a “new spin” on the show will become true literally as Alfsono and Julianne twirled through their steps.

Dancing With The Stars – Releases First Promo Video For New Season
The new Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) promo gives a hint of what viewers can expect in season 32. And to create the promo video, ABC invited its hosts, Julianne Hough and Alfonso Ribeiro, to show off their own moves. Both have a history as Mirror Ball Trophy champions, reported ET News.
“It’s a new spin on Dancing with the Stars! Coming this fall, step into the new #DWTS season with co-hosts @juleshough and @therealalfonsoribeiro. LIVE on @ABCNetwork & @DisneyPlus, and stream next day on Hulu,” Dancing With The Stars promised on its Instagram page.
And the video shows Ribeiro demonstrating his cha-cha skills. Hough wears a ballroom gown as she matches his steps. And living up to the network’s “new spin” on the show, Ribeiro spins Hough and then lifts her into a flip.

DWTS – Hosts Julianne Hough And Alfonso Ribeiro Enjoy ‘Chemistry’
Ribeiro shared that he feels “very excited to have [Julianne] joining me. Our chemistry, I think, is going to be fantastic. We’ve known each other for so long. She was a judge on my season,” he added, referring to the show’s 19th season when Hough served as a judge.
And Hough, 35, also gained experience on the show by competing as a dance pro. “We’ve known each other through the years and our energy just feels so right,” noted Ribeiro. “We sat and had lunch and two-and-a-half hours later we’re going, ‘I guess we should go home and do stuff.’ And I think that kind of chemistry and friendship is going to come through on the show to the audience.”
As a result of Tyra Banks’ departure, Hough feels enthusiastic about the upcoming season. And she pointed out, “It’s full circle being able to come back from being a dancer to a judge and now co-hosting with Alfonso. It’s amazing. Honestly, it’s just family again. I’m just excited. I can’t wait to see everybody back on the dance floor and just get our groove on.”

Dancing With The Stars will also welcome back Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough as judges. However, ABC did not yet release an official premiere date for the show. Instead, the network has focused on reminding fans that in addition to streaming live on Disney+, DWTS will return to ABC live. Episodes will become available on Hulu the next day.
