Tori Spelling’s Manager Wants ‘Investigation’ After ‘DWTS’ Elimination

Tori Spelling's Manager Wants 'Investigation' After 'DWTS' EliminationTori Spelling‘s journey on “Dancing With the Stars” (DWTS) ended unexpectedly on Tuesday, and her manager, Ruthanne Secunda, believes the elimination deserves further scrutiny.

On Wednesday’s episode of Spelling’s “Misspelling” podcast, Secunda expressed her frustration over Spelling’s departure from the show. She called the elimination an “outrage” and humorously suggested that an investigation was needed, saying, “I’m calling 60 Minutes to do an investigation … definitely a glitch in the system.”

Secunda also speculated that a voting glitch could be responsible, citing the possibility of technical issues similar to those affecting airlines. “If airlines can be grounded from a glitch, there could have totally been a glitch in the voting for Tori. I’m suspicious,” she added.

Spelling’s Surprise Despite Not Expecting To Win The Competition

Spelling, who was paired with professional dancer Pasha Pashkov, was eliminated alongside Anna Delvey and dancer Ezra Sosa during the Tuesday night episode.

Spelling admitted she didn’t expect to win the competition but still found the result surprising. “I really didn’t have a gut instinct that we would be voted off,” she said on her podcast. “I’m a realist. I came into this with no dance experience, and I didn’t expect to win the Mirror Ball.”

Despite her exit, Spelling reflected positively on her time on the show, calling the experience “unbelievable.” She emphasized the personal growth she felt during her participation, stating that it brought her immense joy and a renewed sense of self. “Honestly, I loved every second of this experience; I’m not gonna lie,” Spelling remarked.

Recalling Beautiful Moments In The Show

The actress also shared her pride in performing a rumba routine to “This Is Me” from The Greatest Showman, a song she dedicated to her five children, who were present in the audience.

Spelling described how much it meant to her to have all her children witness her final performance. “Both weeks, having all five of my kids here in the audience was everything to me,” she said.

Reflecting on her journey, Spelling told Us Weekly that the competition had helped her rediscover happiness and personal fulfillment, something she hadn’t experienced in a long time. “I came home a better version of myself and a better mom every day because of it. I was feeling so much personal growth and happiness,” she told the publication.

Spelling also highlighted how the experience of learning to dance helped her navigate the challenges of her public divorce from Dean McDermott, with whom she shares five children. She expressed gratitude for the supportive environment on DWTS, saying, “I have never been in a place where I felt zero competition. It was just support and love, unconditional love.”

The Unpredictable Nature of DWTS And Future Plans

Her dance partner, Pasha Pashkov, acknowledged the unpredictable nature of DWTS, telling Us Weekly, “You never know what’s going to happen. You never know who’s going to go home, who’s going to win at the end of the day. And that’s the beauty of the show.”

Despite her elimination, Spelling plans to carry the lessons she learned from her time in the ballroom into her daily life. “The ballroom gave me such a new take on life and such joy that I wanted to keep going,” she said. “I felt like I was just getting started,” she said on Wednesday. “But you know, it’s a reality TV show, that’s the reality. You know, someone has to go home, there has to be eliminations, and I became so close with everybody.”

Spelling also expressed a desire to stay connected with the new friends she made on the show, emphasizing the strong bonds formed during the competition. “I really didn’t want anybody to go home. But I got to say, I have never been in a place where I felt… zero competition with that family, like there was nothing but support and love.”

While Spelling’s time on DWTS has come to a close, her participation has left a lasting impact on her both personally and professionally. Fans of the show can continue to watch DWTS on ABC and Disney+, with episodes streaming the next day on Hulu and Disney+.
