Dancing With The Stars – Everything We Know About This Season Of ‘DWTS’
Season 33 of ‘DWTS’ will premiere on Tuesday, 17 Sept. at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
GMA exclusively revealed the list of celebrity contestants and the pro dancers they will be paired with. From a ‘Real Housewives’ star to a well-known scam artist, the dance floor will be alive with bright lights, fast moving feet and some drama on the side.
Dancing With The Stars – Meet Phaedra Parks
Phaedra Parks is a lawyer and a businesswoman who appeared on “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” for seven seasons between 2010 and 2017. Earlier this year, she joined the show ‘The Traitors,’ which helped her generate enough buzz to launch her return to ‘”The Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
“Everybody knows I’m sassy, classy and some of my friends are a wee bit trashy, but if you come for this Mirrorball, it will get nasty,” Parks teased to “GMA.” Her pro partner is Val Chmerkovskiy.
Dancing With The Stars – Meet Danny Amendola
A sportsman is going to be hitting the dancefloor in the way of Danny Amendola, who is a former NFL player. During his career as a wide receiver for the New England Patriots, he won two Super Bowls.
After playing in the NFL for 13 seasons, Amendola retired from the sport in 2022. Since then, he’s appeared on such shows as “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” and coached the Las Vegas Raiders for one season.
During his introduction, he did a little touchdown dance by sliding across the floor with a skip and spiking a football on the floor as his co-stars cheered. His pro partner is Witney Carson.
Dancing With The Stars – Meet Joey Graziadei
Tennis coach Joey Graziadei joined the Bachelor Nation as the runner-up of Charity Lawson’s season of “The Bachelorette.” In season 28 of ‘The Bachelor,’ he returned as the bachelor, and ended up engaged to Kelsey Anderson.
With so many bachelors and bachelorettes previously competing on the show, Graziadei revealed he feels the pressure. His pro partner is Jenna Johnson.
Dancing With The Stars – Meet Anna Delvey
If she’s as good on the dancefloor as she is of convincing people that she’s a heiress, Anna Delvey will be a shoe-in for the final. However, she did get caught in 2019 and convicted on eight counts, including grand larceny and theft of services.
She was sentenced to 12 years in prison, fined $24,000, and ordered to pay nearly $200,000 in restitution. She was released in 2021 for good behavior.
Her financial crimes and lavish spending has inspired the Emmy-nominated Netflix show “Inventing Anna” and was detailed in the book “My Friend Anna: The True Story of a Fake Heiress.” Her pro partner is Ezra Sosa.
Other notable names on the show this year include Tori Spelling, Jenn Tran, Brooks Nader and Stephen Nedoroscik.
