NBC Days Of Our Lives spoilers and updates reveal even though she hasn’t been in the soap sphere for many years now, it looks like Lindsay Hartley is getting a career resurgence of sorts. That’s because the brunette beauty is temporarily playing Sam McCall on General Hospital while actress Kelly Monaco takes a break from filming. With Lindsay in the spotlight again, a lot of people can’t help but wonder why we are not seeing more of her on daytime television. With that said, here are three reasons why Lindsay would make a great Hope Brady on Days of Our Lives.
#1 Hope Brady’s Work Is Not Done Yet
As many Days of Our Lives fans already know, Kristian Alfonso has decided to leave the show after almost 37 years playing Hope Brady in Salem. According to the actress, her decision was a recent one, which didn’t really give the producers and writers of the show the time to write a proper exit for Hope Brady. Needless to say, this means that her job is not done yet. Seeing how the two women are so alike in their appearance and mannerism, Lindsay would be a perfect recast for Hope Brady.
#2 Fans Loved Lindsay On Days of Our Lives
As many DOOL viewers can recall, Lindsay was not only known for her role on Passions but also for her role as Arianne Hernandez on Days of Our lives. And yes, DOOL fans absolutely loved her. Bringing Lindsay back to Salem would most definitely give the show the spark that it needs right now. That, and it’s always exciting to see familiar faces back in town. Could you imagine Lindsay facing off with Ben Weston or Gabi DiMera? We certainly could.
#3 She Will Have Some Big Shoes To Fill
Kristian Alfonso was a fan favorite for a good reason. She was always the epitome of class and managed to get her character, Hope Brady, through the good days and the bad. Plus, no one can forget her unforgettable wedding to Bo, right? Salem just wouldn’t be the same without this stylish, blazer-loving police chief commissioner.

YES! Lindsay would make a great Hope. She is a wonderful actress and she has been on alot of Lifetime movies. I think she would fill those shoes very well…. She is very pretty and Kristian left on her own choosing.

If there is no Hope around the whole Brady family will slowly disappear ,and i’ve been watching the show for over 55 years and the Brady’s were the making of the soap ,might just as well shut the whole thing down .so lets have another HOPE please ,and i can remember when Hope joined the soap.
Might just as well change the name of the show because its not the same without the older names ,so lets keep a Hope around then her whole family will stay ,hopefully.
She was already on DAYS!!!! Arianna Hernandez, Rafe and Gabi’s sister. No way can they bring Lindsey Hartley back unless she plays Arianna.
She made have made a good Hope replacement years ago but come on people she is the same age as Brady, Shawn and Belle and also played Rafes younger sister. Not a good choice…
I think that they need somebody who is around the same age a Kristian Alfonso. Lindsey Hartley would not make a good Hope because she looks more like Shawns sister then his Mother…Leslie Kay however would be a good choice as she is the same age and a great actress. An added plus is she is a beautiful lady too!
