Many fans are speculating that her recently becoming a grandma may have had something to do with the situation as well. After all, who wouldn’t want to spend valuable time with their grandchild? Melissa’s daughter Emily, welcomed a son, Woods, last month. And Reeves’s son, Larry, and his wife, Olivia, will have a second grandchild this month.

McClain’s first professional acting job was in The Music Man and Finian’s Rainbow at Fullerton College. She went on to work with Ron Rains in A Little Night Music at the New York Opera Ensemble, Quiet on the Set at the Westbeth Theater, Much Ado About Nothing at the Lincoln Center Stages, Comedy of Errors at the Hudson Theatre Guild, Barefoot in the Park at the Westbury Music Fair, Self Offense with the Cucaracha Theatre Company and other productions.

McClain is a California native and she attended three high schools in all: Corona del Mar High in Newport Beach, University High School in Irvine, and Hoover High School in Glendale, California.
Still, there came a point at which the beautiful and talented actress felt the pull of Broadway and she moved to New York City when she was seventeen. It would be almost a quarter of a century before she returned to Los Angeles in 2012.

I am sorry but I think that Melissa Reeves needs to retire from the show she cause too much problems for the show and too baggage as well. I don't care if she Horton or legacy character she is selfish bitch think about herself. There is nothing innocent about the actress either. She has complained about storylines as well. I don't see anything appealing about Jennifer/Melissa Reeves anymore she is not stable actress either. I think that unfair for Matthew Ashford/Jack Deveraux to be backburner or fillers or propping other characters. The Hortons are sacramactious hypocrites who think they are Perfect. Matthew Ashford/Jack Deveraux sacrifice for Melissa Reeves/Jennifer she looks like old motherly hag with hippie hairstyle she has no personality or backbone or spunk or fiestyness either. She has been damaged goods since Daniel. I don't buy her sweet attitude either all phony act. She is underrated actress she is no Meryl Streep either. They turn Jennifer/Melissa Reeves into bossy self-righteous controlling hypocrite. Her character fall off her pedestal grow up. Ken Corday need stop playing favoritism on Melissa Reeves. Matthew Ashford/Jack Deveraux storyline should not put hold on hold because of her personal issues. Matthew Ashford maybe loyal to her doesn't mean he is her keeper. I really hope that Cady Mclain will bring some fire and fiestyness and bring Jack/Matthew Ashford back on as leading man again popular too.
Days of our lives doesn't care about Jack and Jennifer or the actors either. I don't want to lose Matthew Ashford/Jack Dev again or being written off the show without getting his storyline with Steve and Adrienne the Johnson family. I prefer Melissa Reeves in the role but she has not been really into her role lately. They should recast Jennifer with Stephanie Cameron not Cady Mclain or Kristina Wagner. I don't want to lose Jack/Matthew Ashford without Melissa Reeves/Jennifer it would be interesting to see. We seen enough of Jennifer/Melissa Reeves without Jack(Matthew Ashford it was watching paint dry. Love see Jack/Matthew Ashford with different actresses besides her. Prefer Jack and Nicole pairing together instead. Steve and Jack and Adrienne scenes too. They need get rid of Ron Calavati and Albert Alarr two screwing up the show and Matthew Ashford/Jack Deveraux again. NBC should pull the plug soon if Ken Corday even screw with Jack and Jennifer. They have been wasted again be treated like crap. Matthew Ashford and Stephen Nichols and Mary beth should go to General hospital. Days of our lives deserves to be canceled big time.
