Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem spoilers reveal more of a tribute to the DOOL of yesteryear as your favorite Salemites travel far to get their hands on some prisms in a story that was allegedly put to rest nearly 30 years ago.

Remember the time when Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) traveled to New Orleans before they were ever married to find three prisms before Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo) did, making sure he didn’t get the power he needed to save his life. Well, he saved his own life many times, but that doesn’t mean those prisms aren’t back now.

Apparently, the entire plotline for Beyond Salem centers on these prisms, which reminds of the stones from last year’s mini-season. And Megan Hathaway (Miranda Wilson, then known as Cheryl-Ann Wilson) of all people is behind this. Yes, Megan Hathaway, she who perished when electrocuted in a hot tub in 1994. She is also one of Stefano’s many, many children.

What Is Hope Doing?

With prisms and power the theme again, Bo and Hope are still around except she wants to marry Eve Donovan’s (then played by Charlotte Ross) old high school flame Harris Michaels and Angel Bo up in heaven can’t believe what is happening.

He knows Harris is one of the bad guys and can’t allow his Fancy Face to make such a mistake. What is Bo to do when he is in heaven? Can he be resurrected? Will this be like Carousel where Billy Bigelow is allowed to go back for one day to fix his family?

Trouble In Black Patch Land

It’s Megan who now has John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) as hostage and Paull Narita (Christopher Sean) and Andrew Donovan need to team up to track these men down. Andrew Donovan (Colton Little), you say? Theresa Donovan’s (Jen Lilley) brother and Kim Donovan (Patsy Pease) and Shane Donovan’s (Charles Shaughnessy) son. We never thought we’d see the day.
