Days Of Our Lives Casting News: Lorelei Olivia Mote Is The New Rachel Black Recast

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal a new face is about to pop up in the land of Salem. Alice Halsey wrapped up her run as Rachel Black in early March, and it looks like Lorelei Olivia Mote is slated to step into Rachel’s shoes next week. More details below.

Days of Our Lives spoilers remind fans that Halsey’s final show was Thursday, March 5. Now it is being reported that Lorelei will appear as Rachel Black at some point during the week of March 16-20.

Viewers may recognize the young actress from her previous work on popular series like Unprisoned, Daisy Jones & the Six, and American Horror Stories.

In addition to her acting, Lorelei has a unique skill set. She is a trained gymnast, at Level 5–6 / XCEL, and also enjoys dancing, aerial work, playing soccer, swimming, and riding on her bike.

She can also read, write, and speak German! Fun fact: the girl was named Lorelei after the Gilmore Girls’ lead character, Lorelei Gilmore!

Lorelei is the third young actress to play Rachel, after the character was SORASed from a baby, with Finley Rose Slater playing the part from 2021 to 2025, and Halsey taking on the role from 2025 to March 2026.

Speaking of Halsey, fans can expect to see her in a new huge role this summer. She snagged the part of half-pint, a.k.a. Laura Ingalls, in the reboot of Little House on the Prairie, scheduled to debut on Netflix on July 9, 2026.

Will Rachel stop her scheming and manipulative ways and evolve from her misdeeds of the past, once Lorelei steps into the role? Fans will have to tune in to find out!
