Days Of Our Lives Casting News: Tyler Joseph Andrews Named Theo Carver Recast

Days of Our Lives spoilers hint that Theo Carver is slated to return to Salem with a new look. According to reports, actor Tyler Joseph Andrews will take on the role, and he’s set to debut on the Peacock soap very soon. More details below.

Tyler Joseph Andrews’ First Air Date

Theo’s return and Andrews’ debut is scheduled for Tuesday, September 9. Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) son has been played by a number of actors over the years. During his childhood, twins Chase and Tyler Johnson, Kavi Faquir, Amyrh Harris, and Terrell Ransom Jr. were in the role.

Meanwhile, as an adult, the character was played by actors Kyler Pettis and Cameron Johnson. In fact, in 2019, Pettis won a Daytime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Younger Actor category.

Cameron Johnson was the most recent actor to play Theo, with his final appearance taking place in 2023.

Theo exited the canvas with Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) at that point in time. It was recently mentioned that while the two were dating during their time away from Salem, they recently broke up, off canvas. Will heartbreak bring Theo back to Salem, or will his return be about something else?

Tyler Joseph Andrews’ Resume

Andrews is based in L.A. and has five years of formal training at Playhouse West. He was born and raised in Kentucky and moved to Pennsylvania at the age of 13; the move was due to his father’s military career, which spanned 20 years.

During his career, he’s worked in film, television, and theatre. Fans may recognize Andrews from his time on All American: Homecoming in 2024, playing Leo, as well as his role in the 2025 movie, Black Panthers of WWII, playing Private Jack Wilson.
