In addition, we have four weddings in July (as well as a teased funeral, but we’re not sure if that is a literal or metaphorical death). Vanessa Williams is coming back to play Dr. Valerie Grant. She will be at Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price’s (Sal Stowers) wedding.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Eli Grant and Lani Price’s Wedding

DOOL spoilers reveal that Eli and Lani will be getting married soon. It is already teased that someone will be spying on Lani and will pop up in the morning at her wedding. That individual is none other than Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk). However, that’s not the only familiar face that will show up for the “Elani” nuptials.

Days of Our Lives Comings & Goings – Casting News – Vanessa Williams Returns

According to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Williams is coming back to attend Eli and Lani’s wedding. Even though this is their second attempt to get married, fans hope that they will actually be able to tie the knot this time.

As fans recall from last year, “Elani” made it to the altar, but Lani was forced to back out at the last minute. If she didn’t, then Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) would set off Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) exploding pacemaker.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Dr. Valerie Grant Is Missed

Days of Our Lives fans really miss Valerie. She was great when paired with Abe Carver (James Reynolds). Plus, she was a strong woman who expertly diffused tense situations. We also love that she was an incredible surgeon and brought some diversity to Salem in a positive way. It was really disappointing when Williams exited the soap because we feel that her character had so much potential.

DOOL Spoilers- Cast Welcomes Back Familiar Faces

Others that are returning include Billy Davis, Jr. (Billy), Marilyn McCoo (Tamara Price), Alison Sweeney (Sami Brady), and Louise Sorel (Vivian Alamain). They will join a few that have already made big comebacks, including Bryan Dattilo (Lucas Horton), Olivia Rose Keegan (Claire Brady), and Brandon Barash (Jake Lambert, formerly Stefan DiMera).

Plus, there is Emily O’Brien who is playing newcomer Gwen, as well as a SORAS, ’d Allie Horton, who is now being portrayed by Lindsay Arnold.
