Kristian Alfonso and Victoria Konefal’s Days of Our Lives exits come at the heels of what appears to be a mass exodus from the NBC soap. And according to DOOL rumors, there will be a few more shocking casting changes in the coming weeks. Why are the actors exiting left and right?

Since the COVID-19 pandemic began, Hollywood has been out of work. Recently, studios in California got the green light to resume production, with strict new safety protocols and social distancing guidelines. The Bold and the Beautiful already has filmed new episodes, The Young and the Restless has completed their cast’s COVID testing and is set to resume next week, ABC’s General Hospital is planning on being back to work soon after Y&R. But, Days of Our Lives has no intention of filming again until September at the earliest.

DOOL Spoilers – Several Months Of Advanced Filming

Days of Our Lives filmed several months in advance, so unlike the other soaps, NBC had enough DOOL episodes to keep airing new ones well through the summer. What fans forget is even though there are new episodes airing, the Days of Our Lives cast hasn’t been to work in months, and they want to work.

Days of Our Lives rumors hint that since the NBC soap announced they aren’t filming until Fall 2020, several cast members have begun looking for work elsewhere, on TV shows that are already back to work. Soap opera rumors are already floating around hinting that Kristian Alfonso and Victoria Konefal are in talks with other shows, and sadly they are probably just the beginning.
