Days Of Our Lives Comings And Goings – Susan Banks Returns
DOOL comings and goings tease the return of Susan Banks. (Stacy Haiduk) According to Soaps.com, she will appear in the Thursday, February 4 episode. It is indicated that Susan will have information for Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) regarding his presumed dead wife, Ciara. (Victoria Konefal) What does she reveal to Ben, how does she know this information and how deeply is she involved? Plus, can Susan be trusted or should Ben be wary about her coming forward out of the blue?
DOOL Comings And Goings – Ben Weston’s Journey
Wilson previously confirmed during an interview that Ben can’t move on from Ciara. The actor explained that Ben has a gut feeling that Ciara is out there somewhere. His heart tells him that Ciara’s alive, but needs his help. This will kick off his journey to find out what really happened to Ciara.
At the time of that interview, Wilson also teased that Ben wouldn’t be totally alone during his truth quest. He gets a companion and while he wouldn’t give any clues on who it is, not even the gender, it is someone “hilarous.” When we think of Susan, she is one of those wacky characters. Now that we have confirmation of Susan’s return, it seems like she will join Ben on his search.
Days Of Our Lives Comings And Goings – Ciara Brady Weston’s Kidnapping Story
Days of Our Lives comings and goings reveal that Susan has a long and complicated history in the soap. Most of her storylines have revolved around the DiMera family. At one point, she was tied in with Will Horton’s (Chandler Massey) amnesia story. Now we have her connected to Ciara’s kidnapping, which was pre-arranged by Vincent Belman (Michael Teh).
So, what is the connection between Susan and Vincent? If fans think back to when we first met Vincent, he was hired by Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) to make Ben suffer. The plan was to turn Ben back into a serial killer and have him murder his new wife, Ciara. During one scene, it was mentioned that Vincent was Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) protege. So, that means he has a direct link to Stefano DiMera (formerly Joseph Mascolo). As viewers know, Susan has many years of history with “the Phoenix.” So, the information she provides really could be accurate.
DOOL Comings And Goings – Hero, Villain, Or Both?
But why is Susan suddenly showing up now to relay this information to Ben? It’s hard to say and when it comes to Susan, you never know what to expect. We have a feeling that Susan isn’t the hero or the villain in this story, though. That’s too clean for head writer Ron Carlivati. She will probably be a mixture of both and we will find out her reasons soon enough.
