Casey Moss is reportedly leaving his role as JJ Deveraux on “Days of Our Lives” in February, according to Soaps.com. Rumours about his exit started to emerge last year when he didn’t attend the annual Day of Days event.
After the iconic time jump, viewers saw how devastated JJ was when he learned about the death of his girlfriend Haley Chen (Thia Megia), when the latter fell down the stairs while struggling with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).
Fans know that this is not the first time he struggled with grief. Viewers may recall that JJ’s other girlfriend, Paige Larson (True O’Brien), died at the hands of the serial killer Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson).
The actor or the soap has not confirmed Moss’ exit. So viewers have to stay tuned to find out what and what his exit storyline will be.
Moss’ Run As JJ on Days of Our Lives
Moss joined the cast of Days of Our Lives back in 2013. One of his famous storylines was when he had a controversial affair with Paige’s mom, Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva). He earned a Daytime Emmy nomination in the category of Outstanding Younger Leading Actor back in 2018 for his impeccable performance in the storyline where his alter ego, who was a rookie cop back then, shot Theo Carver (Kyler Pettis).
The actor also did well in portraying his character back when he was still suicidal. Later on, JJ saved Haley when she tried to kill herself. JJ then quit being a police and shifted career as a paramedic. After the time jump, he was the one who brought Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) the night of her fatal car crash.
His other acting credits include “Youthful Daze,” “The Last Champion,” and “Circle.” In 2013, he was also nominated for a Gold Derby Award in the Outstanding Younger Actor in a Daytime Drama category for his performance on “Days of Our Lives.”

What’s Next For JJ on Days of Our Lives: Spoilers Ahead
Viewers know that JJ has learned about Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) plan. Since the discovery, he has tried to take Gabi down. He may not have been able to disable the pacemaker app but he’s not about to stop.
JJ and Lani Price (Sal Stowers) will have to be sneaky if they want to succeed. They can’t let Gabi know what they’re up to since she still holds Julie Williams’ (Susan Seaforth Hayes) life at her fingertips.
During the week of February 3, the pair will make bold moves as they try to take Gabi down. Spoilers reveal that they will do something that will rattle Gabi big time.

I know Rafe hasn’t had a good story lately, but if Roman’s not gonna go after Kate, Rafe and Kate should try to rekindle. Hate to see Rafe leave. He and Hope just didn’t have any chemistry.
