In “Days of Our Lives,” Greg Vaughan, who plays Eric Brady, and Linsey Godfrey, who portrays Sarah Horton, will exit the show temporarily because of storyline reasons. What’s more is that nobody knows when they will return.

Viewers won’t be seeing the two characters for the foreseeable future as they make a huge decision to leave Salem with their daughter for good. As per Soap Opera Digest, there’s no end date yet for the couple, and that means viewers have to stay tuned to find out.

Unfortunately, the couple will be in for a shocking revelation. They will be told that their child has cancer, something that parents will never be prepared for, especially with the holidays just around the corner. Fans will be hoping that Mickey could fight it off and that she won’t die.

But, something good may come from this devastating news. It could set up the baby swap revelation after all this time. Fans know that Mickey isn’t Eric and Sarah’s little kid. If Kristen and Brady find out that Mickey isn’t Eric and Sarah’s, it could all end to another devastating heartbreak. With the looming cancer diagnosis, Kristen and Brady may wind out feeling crushed and disappointed once they find out their child has cancer.

Fortunately, “Days of Our Lives” spoilers say Mickey will recover from the health scare. The question now is how will this child reunite with her real parents?
